The Brockton MBTA commuter railroad station had its railroad crossing signal bells replaced a couple months ago (for a pedestrian-only crossing). The new bells are WCH e-bells, and are the first electronic crossing bell I've ever heard in person. They don't sound too bad, but I'm not too big how they abruptly cut off when deactivating. These are the third bells installed at this crossing since the station was built in 1997. It originally had Safetran mechanical bells, then around 2001-2002, WCH mechanical bells replaced them, which then broke down early this year. The signal masts and the lights are from Safetran, however.
