Whitman native Shauna McLaughlin, 27, learned last week that her daughter Madison, who will be 2 in June, has acute lymphoblastic leukemia. “Madi” is a patient in the intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital in Boston, and Shauna has taken a leave from her job to be with her.
